ZINCALUME® or COLORBOND® Roof / Walls

Roof or Wall sheeting made from ZINCALUME® or COLORBOND® steel is available in a range of profiles. The zinc/aluminium alloy coating on ZINCALUME® steel imparts corrosion resistance of up to four times the life of galvanised steel.

Columns & Rafters

Cold formed high tensile Galvanised Z350 Columns / Rafters form an  efficient, economical frame portal, produced from BHP high quality Mpa 450 steel. Stronger by almost 50% than hot rolled "I" Beam structures which are typically only Mpa 250.

C Sections are easily installed since they are pre-punched for ease of assembly along with proprietary brackets. They will normally be in a single section altough double columns may be needed due to  Engineering requirements.
 

 Design capacities is based on the latest software specifically developed at Sydney University. This software is based on the limit state AS/NZS4600: 1996 'Cold-formed steel'. Use of Sydney University's vacuum test rig and the latest computer software has enabled these Metal Building Products to remain at the forefront of cold-formed purlin technology.
 

Roof Purlin & Wall Girts

Top Hats do not require bridging or cleats and offer the advantages of high tensile steel.  There  wide top flange makes for easy  fixing. Easy 'Tek' screw fixing which eliminates cleat costs. All sections are produced from high tensile galvanised steel. Top hats are over lapped by 10% to provide continuity and better structure performance.
